“WHAT IF OFFICE FLOWERS DIDN’T HAVE TO BE REPLACED EVERY WEEK?”I often wonder why workplace flowers are designed to be thrown away. For something that brings so much beauty to a space, the lifecycle is incredibly short.A few days in reception.A week in a boardroom. Then replaced… and discarded. That question is what led me to create Indelible Bouquet. When an arrangement finishes its time in a space, we don’t just move it elsewhere. We take it apart stem by stem, returning every piece to our stock so it can live again in a completely new design. We design silk floral arrangements bringing warmth and design to workspaces without the constant waste cycle of fresh flowers. Each arrangement:🌿 Is redesigned and refreshed each time🌿 Eventually gets donated to community groups and care homes for crafting and creativityIt means the flowers keep evolving and continue giving long after their first placement. And the best part? All of this is created by a team of women working collaboratively, sharing ideas, creativity and decisions every step of the way. It’s a small shift in thinking, but it changes everything.I’m curious…Do you think workplaces are starting to think more about sustainable alternatives for things like flowers, plants and decor?#SustainableWorkplace #CircularEconomy #FacilitiesManagement #WorkplaceWellbeing #WomenInBusiness IndelibleBouquet ... Wow, amazing.
Incredible!! What an achievement.❤️
WE’RE BEYOND THRILLED TO share that Indelible Bouquet has been chosen to create floral displays for Locatelli — the brand new restaurant by Giorgio and Plaxy Locatelli, in partnership with renowned Searcys & Locatelli at the National Gallery which opened inside the stunningly refurbished Sainsbury Wing at the National Gallery last week! We’ve designed bespoke arrangements featuring olive stems and mimosa blossom — which is a nod to the 35-year-old mimosa tree at Giorgio’s family home in Italy. We’ll be refreshing the displays seasonally, and it’s an honour to be part of such a landmark project, bringing a touch of nature into this incredible new space celebrating art, culture, and world-class Italian food.Paul Jackson Simon Finnigan MIH Alexander R. They’re lucky to have such quality bestowed on their space💜 Huge congrats to all involved 💜
Congratulations
LAST MONTH, we had the pleasure of welcoming one of our lovely clients to our Sussex countryside premises for a behind-the-scenes look at what we do.She spent time with our team, watching as we carefully selected the perfect flowers and colours to bring her vision to life. From handpicking each flower to arranging them, she got to see the whole process unfold. She told us it gave her a real appreciation for the creativity and attention to detail that goes into every arrangement.Hearing how much her colleagues had loved our previous displays was the cherry on top for our team - it’s moments like these that make all the hard work feel worthwhile. We only wish we could invite more clients to experience it for themselves!#SilkFlowers ... THE REAL COST OF FRESH FLOWERS.I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: fresh cut flowers are undeniably beautiful but their environmental cost is far greater than people realise. Here are 3 of the ways they leave a footprint on the planet:1) Water Usage: Growing fresh flowers is water-intensive. It takes around 10 litres of water to grow a single rose. Multiply that by millions of flowers produced yearly, and the impact is staggering.2) Carbon Footprint: Many fresh flowers are imported from countries like Kenya, Ecuador, and Colombia. The carbon footprint of transporting them globally, via planes, trucks, and refrigerated storage, is immense. In fact, transporting a bouquet of 12 roses from Kenya to the UK produces around 2.4 kg of CO2 emissions.3) Pesticides & Chemicals: Flower farming often relies on heavy use of pesticides, fungicides, and fertilizers, which can harm local ecosystems and water supplies. These chemicals are not only bad for the planet but also for the workers handling them.Switching to silk flowers offers a sustainable, long-lasting solution without compromising on aesthetics. Silk flowers:• Require zero water to "grow."• Have no carbon-intensive shipping from remote farms.• Don’t rely on harmful chemicals or pesticides.• Can be reused endlessly, reducing waste. So why not make 2025 the year you choose beauty that is kinder to the planet… 😊hashtag#sustainability hashtag#switchtosilk ...
